Add a touch of authentic California Gold Country craft history to your vanity or decor with this beautiful vintage stained glass trinket box. Handcrafted by the renowned Sierra Glass Works studio on Main Street in Placerville, California, this authentic 1970s/1980s piece features vibrant, amber-yellow slag glass panels with beautiful, milky-white swirled inclusions.

The highlight of the box is the front display panel, which elegantly preserves a delicate, real botanical arrangement of dried ferns and a vibrant blue blossom behind a clear glass protective layer. The heavy, high-quality panels are bound together using classic, handmade lead solder construction featuring beautiful decorative beadwork along the outer framing. Perfect for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or styling on a cottagecore or boho-inspired shelf.

Condition Details:

- Overall Condition: Very good vintage condition with a gorgeous, naturally aged dark silver patina on the metal solder lines. The hinge is structurally sound, and the interior is perfectly clean.
- Flaw Disclosure: There is a minor, stable, surface-level hairline flash crack on the top lid glass panel (visible in photos). Please note that this is purely cosmetic and does not penetrate through to the underside of the pane, meaning the lid remains completely solid and structurally secure.
- Provenance: Retains its original, authentic gold foil maker's label on the back: "Sierra Glass Works, 694-A Main Street, Placerville, California."
