Bring a timeless, nostalgic charm to your home with this beautiful trio of vintage ceramic graphic art tiles. Handcrafted by the highly collectible and permanently closed Kimberly Enterprises, Inc. (Gardena, CA), this set features reproduction illustrations from the legendary American Golden Age artist Jessie Willcox Smith. Known for her gentle, warm, and comforting portrayals of childhood, these specific illustrations make a cohesive and heartwarming decorative accent—perfect for a cottagecore nursery, guest bathroom, or vintage Americana art collection. ✨

Featured Artwork In This Trio Set:

- 🛁 The Bath (1903): A young child stepping gingerly into a classic checkered-tile clawfoot tub, originally created for the book Rhymes of Real Children and later used in Pears' Soap advertisements.
- 🐾 A Boy and His Dog (1905): Alternatively titled Friends, this iconic image depicts a young child and a black retriever sitting peacefully on a wooden pier overlooking tranquil water.
- 🏺 The Wash Basin (1916): A sweet depiction of a toddler bending completely upside down to peer curiously into an earthen water bowl, originally created for Charles Kingsley's classic children's book The Water-Babies.

Each high-gloss ceramic tile is securely inset into a rich, substantial solid oak wood frame. The backs of the frames include the original Kimberly Enterprises maker's label with care instructions, felt bumper pads to protect walls, and pre-drilled holes complete with included wooden peg dowels, allowing you to effortlessly choose between hanging them on a wall or free-standing them on a shelf, counter, or vanity! 🪵

About the Artist: Jessie Willcox Smith (1863–1935) 🎨
Jessie Willcox Smith was one of the primary figures of the "Golden Age of American Illustration." Educated under the legendary Howard Pyle, she belonged to a famous group of pioneering female artists alongside Violet Oakley and Elizabeth Shippen Green. Smith achieved immense commercial success for her distinctive, tender, and deeply empathetic portrayals of mothers and children. Her artwork graced the covers of Good Housekeeping magazine for nearly two decades and filled the pages of timeless literary classics like Little Women and A Child's Garden of Verses. Today, her original works are held in elite cultural institutions globally, and her licensed vintage reproductions remain highly prized by collectors of classic Americana. 📜
