This vintage Heinrich porcelain collector plate was manufactured in West Germany by Villeroy & Boch as part of their official UNICEF "Children of the World" charity collection. Marked as plate number seven in the series, the piece features a beautiful and vibrant illustration by the artist Lisbet depicting a young Sami boy from Lapland sitting amidst native berries and greenery in traditional attire. The back of the plate is thoroughly stamped with the official multi-language UNICEF emblem alongside the crowned Heinrich maker's mark, and it comes equipped with a factory-attached metal loop hanger on the reverse side for effortless wall display. Measuring approximately 7.75 to 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter, this fine porcelain plate remains in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or crazing, making it a wonderful addition to any collection of international porcelain or holiday memorabilia.
