      - Dimensions: 3.5 inches (Length) x 3.5 inches (Width) x 4 inches (Height to top of lid knob)
      - Weight: 6 ounces

      Product Description
This charming vintage English footed condiment or preserve jar features a vibrant, multi-colored floral chintz pattern over a classic cream earthenware base. Produced during the post-war era by Lancaster & Sandland Ltd., the underside bears the authentic printed manufacturer backstamp featuring the traditional clasped hands logo. The square, footed jar is paired with a vintage, custom-fit electroplated silver lid manufactured by the renowned British silversmith P.H. Vogel & Co. (stamped P.H.V. & Co. on the underside).

Please note: The included silver-plated sugar shovel is in the "Interlude" pattern by International Silver (circa 1971) and is a later vintage marriage to this piece.

      Condition Report
The ceramic jar shows widespread, uniform aesthetic crazing throughout the glaze, which is highly typical for English earthenware of this era and serves as an excellent marker of authenticity. There are no structural chips or cracks. The silver-plated lid displays minor surface wear, light tarnishing, and faint polishing scratches consistent with age and careful use. Due to the vintage crazing, this set is recommended primarily for display, cottagecore kitchen decor, or storing dry, wrapped items.
