Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic 19th to early 20th-century antique charcoal box iron. Crafted from heavy-duty black cast iron, this historical pressing iron features a top-hinged lid that opens to reveal its original internal grate system designed to hold burning coal or charcoal embers.
The iron boasts an iconic curved wooden handle complete with its vintage fabric/leather protective wrap, which historically shielded the user's hand from heat. It makes an incredible rustic statement piece for farmhouses, laundry rooms, or historic tool collections.
